My resignation is finally put to approve on mon morning after 1 week of persuade from my Manager, GM & Team Leader. Everyone is asking what is my reason to quit. And i jus gave them some general excuses.
1. I need a job that is 5days per week instead of 5-1/2day im working now. Cos majority of the job is practising 5 days, so y must i work for that extra half day on saturday.
2. Garment Industry is shrinking, and i dun see myself can survive in the next 5 years. As many companies has closed down and set up fty and office in Hong Kong, China, Vietnam etc... where the labour and raw materials are cheap.
3. Forsee my future prospect is minimal, cos i dun wish to be jus a Merchandiser like those senior that has work for more than 10 years, and still remain in that position. Cannot climb any further.
4. I've decide to switch my job aspects to Engineering areas where all these technology are in the trend now.
Am counting down the days to come. My last day with Chin Heng will be 15/Sep.
