My World, My Life ♥

I have been visiting my gramps almost everyday for the past 2 weeks.
One of the pics which my cousin Calista gotta chu-chu train him to his bed cos his knee is quite weak.
He has been very active at night & sleepy in the day.
Heard from my aunt that one night she caught him trying to sneak out at 2am tat they have to keep all the keys away.
Also Calista always gotta call him "帅ge" den he answer u hor. And when my granny feed him his meal, Calista will pacify him that "wah 帅ge, u got mei nu feed you shark fin","got abalone","got scallop" just to make him eat. (da shi wo dou shuo bu chu lai) (-.-)"

I go shopping @ Marina Sq & Bishan Junction8 again.

After a long wait, we have finally meet up on wed for a dinner
My Best Friends during our Primary School days which is 15 or 16 years ago.

We had Vegetarian food for dinner at ROMA's DELI @ Beach Rd. Cos Xiuhua has been a vegetarian for so many years despite Jas & me has been pestering her to convert back to Carnivorous.
I had ordered the Seafood Spaghetti set dinner which comes with a Mushroom soup & Soft drink(A&W root beer). We also ordered a Hawaii pizza to share.
Overall rating, i give 5.5/10.

After dinner, we went Bugis street for shopping.
Oops i did it again.... bought a frilly blouse for only $10. And Jasmine gave me my belated gift - a pink Esprit Tee & Aloe Vera body lotion from CrabTree & Evelyn. (Gam sia very much, jassy)

Y do i actually agreed to go day trip bike touring with Elvin last sunday to Malacca?
Cos he has been suan-ing me everytime that i cant make it to Koh Samui, Kuala Lumpur, or even the Singapore custom. *annoyed*

But i MADE it to Malacca due to my perserverance despite all the strangling and aching throughout the whole journey. Strangling?? is because we are travelling at a top speed from 140km/hr to 250km/hr(bu zhi si zi ze me xie) and im wearing the normal helmet so the helmet is pulling backwards due to the wind direction at the top speed. And the strap at the helmet is strangling me, like commiting suicide.

Glad it is over, but my neck still suffer some bruises.
Overall it is a great experience.

Dear beloved sister, thank you very much for your surprise b'day package all the way from Sweden. *very gan dong that everytime i ps oso think of u* find this phrase very familiar ma??
Thank you for reminding me im 62 instead of 26 this year lo.

My KL shopping trip with Ms Lisa Chew.

DAY 1
Took the 9am Bus Coach @ Beach Road and reached KL @ 2.30pm.
Started drizzling in KL and we fasten our pace to our Coranade Hotel just opp Sungei Wang & Lot 10. Quite a good location with shoppin haven just across the road.
But what i most afraid in KL is jaywalking in between the heavy traffic. The motorists will suddenly come out of nowhere.

Check out the hotel room below. One thing i dun like the hotel service(the malay chao ah gua) & the leaking ceiling.

After left our baggage in the hotel rm, we are starving and went straight to Sungei Wang, the shao la dian.
Had my favourite Crispy Roasted Pork & Wanton Mee everytime i came to KL.
Lisa wanted her Crispy Suckling Pig(Sa Zhu Pi) but already sold out in the morning. *Lisa so disappointed*

After our lunch, we went straight to Pudu Raya to buy our return bus ticket to Singapore on Sunday aftn.
We studied the map n walked to Pudu Raya without any problem lo.
Who says women cant read map huh?!
After that we had our Starbucks Mocha coffee @ Chinatown. *relaxing our feet*

I learnt something new from Lisa while shopping in Chinatown.
She really can bargain, BARGAIN QUEEN.
From a RM75 bag can slashed to RM28, she ask for RM 25 so in the end she din buy the bag. *hao li hai*
We had Chicken Claypot for dinner which Lisa recommended die die must try if come to Chinatown. Taste not bad. (Rating 3.95/5)
There's really alot to shop but you must really bargain, you can get cheaper here than Sungei Wang. Trust me.

Lisa spent RM50 on notebooks only. *Kee siao* I thot i very obessed with notebooks lo, but she win me liao.

DAY 2
I got eye infection in the morning due to the contact lens and this is the 2nd time this month.
Semi-blindness (see everything is blurry & everyone is leng loi & leng zai)
Meet our Hytex friends(our ex-suppliers), and they brought us to CHERAS for yum-cha & dim-sum. Havent seen them for quite some time le.

Shopping @ THE CURVE

Chin brought us for dinner near their home & we had CRABS again.
We ordered the SALTED EGG BRAB & CHILLI CRAB with man tou, Fu Zhou Tou Fu with cai poh as topping, Seafood Curry in the heart-shaped coconut and Veggie.

We are so captivated by the magnificent Twin Tower. The whole building is like a light bulb, bling bling in the heart of the city.

DAY 3
My eye infection got worsen, right eye swollen & "jian guang jiu si".
So i wore my fav cap & the sunglass(bought from Chinatown). Lisa said i look like HK Celebrity hiding from paparazzi. *hohoho, i know i look like one lah*(someone pls bash me up)

We had lunch at the same shao la dian for the Suckling Pig which Lisa has been drooling for days.

We took 4pm return bus & reached Lavender Mrt Station @ 11pm.
And my dear came & fetch me home. *so gan dong*

My Final Victories. Bought a sunglass for my dear and 2 Tee & a belt for my brother.

Crabby feast with my food khakis - Jia Jia & Ricky @ MELLBEN AMK Blk 232.
We have ordered the BLACK PEPPER CRAB & CREAMY BUTTER CRAB.
And they taste SUPERB! 2 THUMBS UP

After that, we went AMK HUB for dessert.
People will think we are siao, still can eat ar.
So we went to NEW YORK NEW YORK for ice cream. *woot*

Took such a long time to blog on my birthday finally.
On my birthday, my ex-colleagues has sent me a bouquet of pink tulips.
Thank you my kitties in World Cats.
They are Irene, Clara, Priya, Lisa, Kasturi & Eva.

In the evening, my dear has surprise me with a birthday cake. And took me for a spin ride on his precious R1 around Singapore.

And took me for a light dinner at MAD JACK CAFE in Jalan Kayu. Ordered a vegetarian mock Fish & Chips cos i dun wan to eat meat on my birthday. (Spare the animal's life for a day)

And im a year older again. Haiz...

Just reach hm after attended a funeral whom one of my supplier boss(so called my godmother)'s mother passed away of old age. Glad that she is feeling fine.

This afternoon my mum & i have met up with my cousin Calista @ Yio Chu Kang to visit my grandfather which is hospitalised in Thye Hua Kwan Community Hospital.
Glad to know he is recovering.
Heard from my cousin that my grandmother has come every morning to visit him with porridge without fail hor. So lovely dovey *wonder, will anyone do the same for me*
I also just heard from my cousin abt the penguin story, so cute & funny.
The story goes ......
One day, my grandfather jalan jalan in one of the pasar malam and came across this penguin (filled with air inside) with the squeking sound on the 2 hands. Think he has affinity with the penguin, he bought it and hug it to sleep everyday. Also he will squeeze the penguin's hand "bee poo bee poo" which irritates my grandmother when she wants to sleep. So funny. -End of story-

So my thoughtful cousin brought his penguin to his ward to "pei" him and even wrote on the penguin's tummy "gong gong, zu ni shen ti jian kang"
When we bid goodbye to him, he even cover the blanket for his penguin. *hahaha*
Anyway he will be discharge on Oct/14. Think i have to make a trip to my grandmother's place cos i dun tink she can handle to take care of him as his knee are quite weak at the moment. Oh no, i haven't complete the namecard that i promised to do for my grandmother.

This is when he 1st admitted in TTSH where he suffered a stroke on his right brain. He is on tube feeding and he can't speak, very ke lian.

Wednesday Oct/8
Enjoying our 1-day tai-tai lifestyle with PK ytd afternoon at Tampines Central.
1. Lunch at Tampines Food Court
2. Do Manicure & Pedicure at Nail Palace (this time roun, i chose light purple)
3. Shopping with PK for 2pairs of sandal
4. High-Tea at Cartel - we had sandwiches(egg, ham with melted cheddar), American cheese cake, Cuppacino, Root Beer float *yum yum*

On Tuesday Oct/7
1. Lunch with ex-colleagues Lisa & Priya at our fav lunch hunt "Bubble Tea Hut"(Bugis).

2. After lunch, i starts to roam along the Arab street & Haji Lane.
Lotsa pretty fabrics and sounvenirs but can't find any nice charms to do necklace. Continue my walking to nowwhere and i landed at Geylang. Thot of having my fav tau huey but later decided to change route as there are alot of "chee ko pek" and "china gals" patronize there. *ding dong*
Walk n walk again i landed at Mountbatten/Old Airport Rd where i used to stay with my ah ma in my early childhood days. Missed the daily coffee break days with my ah gong & sister just behind the blk which now has been demolished. *sadz* Continue my walk and stop at the kallang river bridge to kaypo what the china men are fishing and my bus 12 has just bypass me and i missed it. Bo bian, i continue to walk to Katong, lotsa nice bungalow and semi-detach house. *dreaming* When can i ever own a bungalow with my garden. *gotta work extremely hard to fulfil this dream*
Finally i saw my bus 12 coming and quickly grab a seat after my 10km walkathon. Feel sorry for the aunty sitting beside me as i SMELL. *hoho*
Manage to reach hm b4 5.30pm to beat the office crowds.

3. After that, i have done some gardening with the Ginseng seeds which my colleague given me as well as experimenting with chilli seeds & gingers. See below.

Desktop is forever messy and paper works are piling up everyday. You can see me everytime on the phone screaming and chasing suppliers/fty for sample status & reports.

My last day in World Cat(PUMA) on tues, and my dear colleagues gotten me a Red PUMA bag which i have been eyeing for a long time. Thank you FOLKS!

There's a war going on in the office.
Kasturi & Lisa are throwing staple bullets between their territories. And i told them off that they are behaving so childish. Seconds later, Lisa start throwing her print swatches over my territory. OMGosh~

To retaliate, hiak hiak hiak....
i snaps pics of her and threaten to post it in my blog (which im doing now) and see what has happened to her. I have my way to shut her up. HOhoho.

I have start to miss all the fun in Puma office liao.

I have never eaten such an expensive durian for all my life.
And I have been bugging Elvin that i wanted to have the experience eating durians in Geylang so he brought me to this durian stall in Geylang near one of the furniture shop.

I mentioned to him i want the "mao shan wang" and he went to choose the durian while i linger away taking photos. Den this durian seller chose the durian for him and even pry open the durian showing him the meat. So bo bian, Elvin has to buy the "special" durian. When the man bring our durian to a table for us to consume, i ask the man how much it cost. He say $60! I turned and looked @ Elvin(siao ar, $60 for a durian?? Branded isit??) The guy reali cut our "white carrot" cos i got bio the price is $15/Kg from "hundred years old durian tree"(duno true anot), so the durian can't possibly be 4Kg lo.

My heart is so pain when popping the durian flesh into my mouth. So peeps, pls ask for the price before you ever purchase any durian.
